Material Overview
Inconel 718 is a nickel-chromium alloy with high strength at elevated temperature and good corrosion resistance. It is used for turbine and engine components, fasteners, energy equipment and high-temperature structures.
The alloy work-hardens, retains heat at the cutting edge and wears tools quickly. Sharp tools, rigid setups, high-pressure coolant and a process designed for nickel alloys are required.
What We Machine
We machine brackets, housings, bushings, shafts, valve components and precision parts in Inconel 718. The review covers the condition, heat treatment, critical features and inspection plan.
Tolerances and Inspection
Critical features are verified with CMM or the agreed method. Material certificates and heat-lot traceability are available. If the part requires heat treatment, the sequence and the final inspection should be planned.
What to Specify
State the alloy condition, heat treatment, critical features, tolerance, surface finish and inspection requirement. If the part is for a regulated program, confirm the quality system scope before the order.
Request a Quote
Send your drawing, material, condition, tolerance, surface finish, quantity and destination. Our engineering team responds within 24 hours.
Applications
We machine turbine and engine components, fasteners, brackets, valve parts and high-temperature structures for aerospace and energy.
Specify the alloy condition, heat treatment, critical features and inspection requirement. Nickel alloys require a process designed for work hardening and tool wear.
FAQ
What condition should I specify?
Specify the alloy condition, heat treatment, critical features and inspection requirement. Nickel alloys require a process designed for work hardening and tool wear.
Can you provide material certificates?
Yes. Material certificates, heat-lot traceability, FAI and CMM reports can be included in the RFQ.
What tolerances can you hold?
Tolerances are confirmed by feature. Critical features can be verified with CMM; a blanket tight tolerance is usually unnecessary and expensive.
